Is anyone having the same issue? I add exceptions (delivery and takeout) for VAT in Backoffice but it doesn't work. It keeps applying VAT for all dinning options, including delivery and takeout. Does anyone know how to solve this?

In Singapore GST (7%) Only: Price x 1.07 Service Charge (10%) Only: Price x 1.10 Supposed to be GST and Service Charge: Price x 1.177 For example, Meal costs you $100 You’ll first have to add a service charge of 10% raising the total to $110. The $110 is then taxed a GST of 7% adding another 7.70 to your total, leaving you with a bill of 117.70 But on loyverse system. Meal costs you $100 Add a service charge of 10% raising the total to $110. $100 is taxed a GST of 7% adding another 7.00 to your total, leaving you with a bill of 117.00 Is there any way to change system?

The "EDIT TAX" section is not working right now. Two different issues: - I want the tax to not apply to certain items, but the tax still applies to all items no matter how many times I change the option and save. When I select "apply the tax to all new and existing items" and save, then come back to the page, it has changed the option automatically to the "-" (see attached). - The second issue is that even though I have selected for the tax to not apply to Takeaway and Delivery, the tax still applies. I have seen various other forum posts about this, so seems to be a common bug. Please help! This is incredibly problematic for my staff. Thanks

I defined in the software 17% tax. The price of the product is 35. Instead of seeing that 5.95 goes down, I see that the tax is 5.09. Can someone explain to me what I'm doing wrong?

In our retail shop we are used to choose a selling price including VAT, but a purchase (Cost) price without VAT. Is this possible in Loyverse? When we set the Taxes to "Added to the price", we have to enter selling and purchase price both without VAT. The margin calculation is correct, but is not practical because we want to have rounded selling prices. When we set the Taxes to "Included in the price", we have to enter selling and purchase price both including VAT. The margin calculation is still correct, but this is not practical because our suppliers give the prices without VAT.

We have customers that need to see the GST (10%) component of a sale on the receipt. Even though I have added it in tax section and marked it as inclusive it doesn't show up separately on the receipt. Any ideas please.

in our country we have such a call senior discount and this discount is computed by this formula: Product Price: P300 VAT Rate: 12% Formula: Selling Price ÷ VAT Rate = VAT Exempt Sales Solution: P300 ÷ 1.12 = P267.86 Senior citizens are given a 20% discount on every goods and services. To compute for the discount, subtract the percentage by multiplying the VAT exempt sales by 20%. Formula: VAT Exempt Sales x 20% = Senior Citizen Discount Solution: P267.86 x 0.20 = P53.57 - I cannot add the less VAT in our POS before we less the 20% discount, can you help me? Is there a way? I hope there is.

I have put in a 5% discount button so the total for the customer is correct, but then it is not correct when I need my reports to pay taxes... I cannot simply add an item for 6 bakery, as they may order 10 etc. and different items have different prices... Please Help!

We on occasion run a sale as tax exempt. We are new to Loyverse and like it so far but I do not see an option to make a transaction or even a customer tax exempt. Is there an option for this?

Our sales tax is 11.5%, and sometimes we include that in the price as a bargaining device. My problem is that I do not know how to reflect this in my loyverse system. Example: Tax included on $1 item, should show, by using rounded numbers, $.90+ $.10=$1.00. However, 1) If I choose the "tax included" toggle, the $.10 tax does not show on the receipt. 2) If I give an 11.5% discount and then charge the 11.5% tax, it gives me: $1.00-$.12 (discount) + $.10 (tax) = $.98 (total). Which I understand is because the discount is being figured on $1.00, while the tax is being figured on the $.88. I would like an automatic way to do this, but if there isn'…

Good Morning, Our set tax rate is 6.5% for all our items. However, when we pull the "sales by item report" and calculate the tax rate it fluctuates. Example: 2 items bought = $1.90 (Gross Sales) Tax = $0.12, Total = $2.02 When we calculate the tax rate for the sale it reflects a lower tax rate. Example: $0.12 (Taxes on sale) / $1.90 (Gross Sales) = 6.316% Why are we not ending up with a 6.5%?
