Briemardon1 Posted January 31, 2021 Share Posted January 31, 2021 In Canada on Bakery items we charge 5% tax, but if you buy 6 or more there is no TAX... how do I set this up? I have put in a 5% discount button so the total for the customer is correct, but then it is not correct when I need my reports to pay taxes... I cannot simply add an item for 6 bakery, as they may order 10 etc. and different items have different prices... Please Help! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Solution Shinji Posted March 13, 2021 Solution Share Posted March 13, 2021 The best way you can deal with this is simply to use the "Apply tax depending on Dining option" and create another dining option called "6 or more". That way, when your customer indeed buys bread that are 6 or more, you can change the dining option to the 6 or more dining option and if you have done so, it will not apply the tax to the items in the tickets instead of manually toggling down or disabling the taxes on each of the items.
