Service Charge 10% and GST7%

In Singapore 
GST (7%) Only: Price x 1.07
Service Charge (10%) Only: Price x 1.10

Supposed to be
GST and Service Charge: Price x 1.177

For example, 
Meal costs you $100
You’ll first have to add a service charge of 10% raising the total to $110. 
The $110 is then taxed a GST of 7% adding another 7.70 to your total, leaving you with a bill of 117.70

But on loyverse system.
Meal costs you $100
Add a service charge of 10% raising the total to $110. 
$100 is taxed a GST of 7% adding another 7.00 to your total, leaving you with a bill of 117.00
 

Is there any way to change system?

Hello. The Loyverse works like that and applies two added to the price taxes to the same amount. It is a common practice worldwide in calculating taxes. There is no way to customize such taxes calculation in Loyverse.

Hello back; common practice world wide but not SG. As the service charge is SUBJECT to GST 7%.

It is not; as explain it is common, lawful practise of HORECA in Singapore to apply 10% surcharge on top of goods and service. Thus, that 10% surcharge subject to Gov Tax

Hi , we have similar issue.

Also reason why most F&B places don't use Loyverse in SG is because of this issue.

In Singapore GST is calculated on the sum of Service Tax and Item Price.

Given below is the official link of Singapore Government explaining the same:

Please enable this option ASAP otherwise we will have to move to other POS systems.

You may enable the service charge as a item automatically added if the dine-in option is selected as no service charge for takeAway.

Hello We are unable to use Loyverese in Thailand restaurants  as Service charge is subject to VAT here but in Loyverse there is no option for compound tax .

 

that is if product is $10, service charge is $0.10   the vat should be on $10.10 

Where Vat is a compound tax which applies on combined sum of price and all taxes.

kindly enable this feature to make Loyverse usable in Thailand restaurants
