Barcode Scanners

I have an Android handheld POS terminal with a built-in barcode scanner. However, I am unable to enable the built-in barcode scanner to read product codes in Loyverse POS. An external barcode scanner connected via Bluetooth works fine. Is the built-in barcode scanner incompatible?

My SKU numbers start with 000 (00012 for ex). When I uploaded my item list via CSV file, the system deleted the zeros. Will the scanner still be able to accurately read the barcode or do I have to go in the back end and enter all the 0's? Thanks

Hello. Are there plans to support more barcode scanners for iOS? We use bluetooth barcode scanners on our PCs that I can operate in three different modes: Bluetooth HID Bluetooth SPP Bluetooth BLE I have no problem in pairing these barcode scanners to my iPhone (HID or SPP works great) so that when I scan a barcode in an app, it acts as if I would type that data on the keyboard. So it would be great if Loyverse POS would also support that and not just two specific scanners. Do you think you could add that support for HID or SPP standard? For example in the search function I can already scan a barcode and your app finds the corresponding product…

Hello, I bought this SCANNER CODE, but when I go to the article list and I want to shoot a barcode to associate it with the product, the tablet opens the camera for me. How do I fix it? It's connect to the tablet with bluetooth.

Hi, I am new to loyverse and currently testing to use in my store. I bought Green Tech GTBS-X760E barcode scanner and used it for testing. When I filled the barcode of the items under each Item with that scanner, it wrote the numbers after scanning the barcode. When I tested about selling in the Sales menu, the barcode sounds but the items are not put to the Ticket (Cart). May I know it is because of the barcode scanner issue? I have read the scanner's documentations that supports USB and RS-232. I attached the specifications just for reference. Thank you.

I have a Socket 7Qi/7Ci (Bluetooth) connected with android tablet. Scanner works fine and is connected as HID. When I want to change some items, the onscreen display does not show up. When scanner is not connected it appears. How to have both scanner connected an keyboard showing up when editing?

Hi Loyverse, I like to use sales item by barcode scanning. All my items have barcode configure. When I use the search function on top (sales screen), the barcode scan result is correct and able search the right item. But, when I directly scan with item with barcode scanner (sales screen), ticket screen either blank or some time select the wrong item. I am using android TV box with android version 9. Barcode scanner is USB connection. Appreciate if any Loyverse SME here help on this issue.

Hi, I am currently using Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+5G. Whenever after I scanning the item, and then tap in search symbol, the virtual keyboard does not appear and after that, it's error. I try tap anywhere, it's still error. I already try to redownload the app, and it's still same problem occurred. Do u guys know how to fix this issue? In my old device, Galaxy Tab A7. This problem never occurred, whenever I tap in search symbol, after scanning product. The virtual keyboard Immediately appear, no problem at all.

Is there any model of handhelds that i can use by loyverse app?

Good day, Why cant generic bluetooth scanners work ? We have one store that we have been testing Loyverse on an android tablet for a few months and not we are looking at using some apple ipads we have. we got some about 10 generic scanners from netum . why can't we have to work with Loyverse ? the iPad connects to it via Bluetooth without issue.. please help

Please let me know which barcode scanner is usable with an Ipad, but that is available to purchase in South Africa (I.E Brother scanners). The list of iPad-compatible Barcode Scanners doesn't seem to be available in South Africa. Thank you

Hi all, I’m new to Loyverse and hunting for suitable hardwares. Where I live POS terminal integration is only supported with IOS devices (I have no choice but to go with an iPad) and compatible barcode scanners are not easy to come by. I am planning on buying a galaxy tab as a customer display and just curious if I can connect a barcode scanner to it for scanning items for the main device. Thanks

Please can I get advise if the S730 is compatible with Loyverse POS or not? It is not in the list of compatible devices, but we thought your list was just not updated. Is there any way to make it work??

Hi, I got the Bematech S100U but I'm getting the scanner requires too much power when I plug it into the iPad. Is there something that should be done before using this scanner with Loyverse?
