Hello. Are there plans to support more barcode scanners for iOS? We use bluetooth barcode scanners on our PCs that I can operate in three different modes: 

  1. Bluetooth HID
  2. Bluetooth SPP
  3. Bluetooth BLE

I have no problem in pairing these barcode scanners to my iPhone (HID or SPP works great) so that when I scan a barcode in an app, it acts as if I would type that data on the keyboard. So it would be great if Loyverse POS would also support that and not just two specific scanners.

Do you think you could add that support for HID or SPP standard? For example in the search function I can already scan a barcode and your app finds the corresponding product. So the app does receive the scanned barode and it shouldn't be too complicated to add a function so I can properly use it to scan items. That would be fantastic!

    Even though currently Loyverse POS on iOS supports only the following barcode scanner, I appreciate your suggestion! 

    • Socket Mobile 7Ci
    • Socket Mobile 7Qi
    • Socket Mobile S700
    • Socket Mobile S720
    • Socket Mobile S740
    • Socket Mobile S800
    • BCR-POP1 - mPOP scanner only connected through mPOP printer
