It all started originally as a dream but for us it was also a necessity. I am a student in my 8th semester of studying chemistry and my girlfriend has been starting her internship in clinical nutrition.  We really needed an income, but the part time jobs were paid badly and we didn’t have the time they needed. So we decided to run our own business.

Here in Mexico it is pretty common to find this “Puestos” where they sell “elotes” (Corn) and “esquites” (grains of corn cooked with pepper , onion,  butter, and “epasote” (a kind of condiment used frequently in Mexican food). We improved the original recipe; adding grated cheese on the corn and pouring it into a Dorito bag as well as adding mayo, old cheese and cream to the top.

Could you describe to us a bit about your local community?

I live in Puebla Mexico. Puebla is the where the 5 of mayo battle took place against the French army. People are often described it as being cold, but most of us find it pretty easy to fall in love with the place.

Puebla , or if I could say, Mexico in general, is full of hard working people, but most of them are not well supported. The barrios around the center are marginal areas, and the class division between the rich and poor is very obvious. Those middle class people are the ones who strive to achieve success  and give the best to their little ones.

How did you find Loyverse POS and why would you recommend Loyverse POS to other retailers like you?

I found it browsing in the app store of android. I wanted a POS system for small business (TPV) and yours has a high rating. It’s highly intuitive and easy to use, I can use it in on my language (Spanish) and it is free.  I  recommend it highly you others, and especially to my people at home.

What is the goal for your business and what are your plans to achieve this goal?

We want to become in a passionate franchise who can provide good quality to the customers at an affordable price. And we recently open a more formal store.

Do you have any advice for retailers such as yourself? -E.g. Something that you wish you had known earlier.

I encourage others to learn a little bit about finance before, since it includes knowing the cost of production of your products, being able to manage your money efficiently not spending it on unnecessary things.
