My name is Marcella Jeremiah and I am the owner of Reneescentsationz. After 15 years in the Sales and Marketing field, I decided it was time to start my own business in the area of Scented Candles. Candle making is not just a passion but being able to produce a product that people love and appreciate is an awesome feeling.

Could you describe to us a bit about your local community?

My shop is located in the center of the capital City St. George’s in the tropical isle of Grenada. Our country is only 133 Sq Miles and our people are known for their warmth and hospitality.

How did you find Loyverse POS and why would you recommend Loyverse POS to other retailers like you?

Prior to opening my shop, I was selling my Candles from home and manually recording sales. Keeping track of my inventory was also very tedious so I started looking for a POS system on Google. When I found Loyverse and looked at the reviews, I was very pleased. I was able to download the app on my smartphone and tablet. The goal of Reneescentsationz is to create a brand that is recognized worldwide not only for scented candles but other products as well.

Do you have any advice for retailers such as yourself? -E.g. Something that you wish you had known earlier.

My advice for retailers like myself is never underestimate your potential. You thought of the idea and you took the bold step to open your business. Continue working hard and you will reap the benefits of your hard work. Also it is important to have a support structure in place whether it is your family or mentors or financial advisor.

You definitely need to have people that support your business venture on your side.
