Tax on tax - Service Charge

The lack of a tax on tax function has been an ongoing issue for us for nearly a decade and we are now about to abandon Loyverse because of it. We need some capability to apply a service charge or delivery charge as a percentage of the subtotal, and still apply the VAT on top. 
 

I understand this may have some connotations in the design as it requires another stage of subtotaling, but a simple alternative would simply be to turn off validation on discounts and allow a negative discount. Then we could apply a -10% discount called Service Charge before VAT was collected. 
 

in today’s world with AI coding, this is a weekend fix and there’s really no excuse anymore to not have something in the system. Hell, I vibe coded an entire POS with this feature, unique product pricing by channel, and full KDS support in a week. We’re likely going to make the switch if the dev team doesn’t get their act together on this one.
