Orders API - Kitchen display

Hello,

I would like to know if it is currently possible (or planned in the future) to access, via API, the status of open orders (kitchen tickets), and not only issued receipts.

Specifically, I would need to retrieve a list of all currently ordered items (e.g., all main courses), grouped by type and by the quantity still to be prepared—exactly as displayed on the Kitchen Display.

The goal is to build a custom dashboard where:

The counter for each dish shows the total number of items ordered and not yet marked as completed on the Kitchen Display.

When a dish is ticked/completed on the Kitchen Display, the counter updates accordingly.

This way, for example, the chef or grill cook can always see how many and which types of meat should be started, avoiding preparing dishes not yet requested and minimizing waste in the kitchen.

I checked the public API documentation, but only “receipts” (sales) are available, not real-time orders/kitchen tickets.

Is there already a way to access this data via API (even private/beta), or is such a feature planned for the future?
