How to see receipt ticket number on a cash only charge that matches kds?

Please help.  We are new users.  We are testing our pos (no printed receipts nor customer display) just an android pos for order taking (cash only) and a iOS KDS.  Orders come thru to kds with the pos number then sequential numbers.  That’s fine.  The issue is, the person taking the order can’t see the sequence receipt numbers as displayed on the kds.  We are about to give up.  What would be ideal is on the charge screen you take the money see the number and then hit charge.

if we can’t figure this out we may have to hunt for a different solution.

Good. You should have a printer connected to the pos so the number pf the order is printed on the reciept

Please check this information. I hope it will help:
The order number is displayed only on a paid printed receipt (if the open ticket was not saved), on the KDS, or on the printed kitchen order.

 

The meaning of the numbers in the order:
Example #59-007

59 - is the POS number;
007 - is the order number;
When the order number reaches 999, it starts again from 001.

Thanks.  We were trying to achieve without using a printer or customer display.  Determined it couldn’t be done so we bought a little seiko receipt printer for this purpose only.
