Create open ticket from api

Could you please clarify why it’s not possible to create open (unpaid/draft) orders via the API? This feature is really important for our workflow.
We need to sync WooCommerce orders to Loyverse as open tickets so they can later be closed/paid in-store.
Currently, we have developed a custom WordPress plugin that fully syncs products, inventory, orders(receipts) and customers between WooCommerce and Loyverse using the API. The only missing part is syncing orders as open tickets, not just as completed sales. Is there any roadmap or workaround for this, or any way to enable it?
This would be extremely valuable for us and many other businesses with online/offline integration needs.
