Not coming up with "Cash" option at checkout, greyed out in settings!

The cash option is not coming up when creating a new order and when I go the the payment options "Cash" is greyed out and it won't let me select it. Any clues how I get it to show as an option in this case please? TIA

I took a video but it won't let me upload it here, the format is not available. Here are two screenshots showing the cash option greyed out, and when I click the "all" button next to the Name field it only highlights the POS machine. I tried adding an "Other Payment" as cash but then it told me that it already exists! Totally frustrating. If you can please help that would be amazing! Thanks

The CASH payment type is the default payment type. It cannot be deleted or edited, but it can be disabled.
To disable it, please unmark its availability for the store/s.


Also, you can use the ROUNDING feature for the CASH payment type:
