KDS has Unknown SSID and wrong IP

Hi,

I am using a KDS on a Chromebook. It works fine as a Kitchen Display but will not print the order. I've attached an Epson TM-T88V printer via USB. I use the Epson Utility App to connect the printer, and the utility performs successful tests on the printer.

The KDS displays orders just fine but does not print them.  I have the Printer set up as a Kitchen Display with Print Orders switched to "On" and with the correct Printer Group selected.

The only odd thing is that when I show the Settings on the KDS, it has "<unknown ssid>" for the Wi-Fi Network, and the IP Address is incorrect.

The network only has one router and uses DHCP. The IP Address entered on the Printer Screen in the POS is taken from the Chromebox's Network Information - I think that is why it displays correctly.

Any ideas to help KDS display/use the correct SSID and IP - or, it doesn't matter.

Hello. KDS does not print orders from printers. Only POS app can print orders from a printer.

So, does there have to be a POS in the kitchen to receive kitchen order print outs?

That seems odd.
