API Item Pricing Update Not Syncing

When I update pricing using the API it does not automatically sync to the tablets. Normally using the back office, you have to first go out of a category view and then back in for the price updates to take effect - but when using the API it does not sync at all. A manual sync is needed to update pricing... Also, if the menu is not reloaded the price is also using the old price... This seems to be a bug, any updated price should sync to the devices?

In my environment, when I update the price of an item from the API, it will automatically be reflected in the POS.
