I just wondering about the order number 

my pos1 normally will generator order number like #0420-01-22

but  my pos2 generator order number like #02-022

So how can i set up pos2 to generator order number like pos1  that got like #monthDAY-POS number-order number

 

not like #POS number-order number

Hello, dear user

At the moment on Android version of the Loyverse POS App the order number looks this way:
#0215-01-02
The meaning of the numbers in the order:

0215 is monthDAY (Feb 15);
01 is the POS number;
02 is the order number;
and order number every day start from 01.


But on iOS version of the Loyverse POS App we have a new logic of the order numbers(it will be realised for Android version later):
#003-056
The meaning of the numbers in the order:

003- is the POS number;
056- is the order number;
When the order number reach 999, it starts again from 001.

Thank you Georg for explaining in details. I was wondering what is the thought of changing this logic? The new logic doesn't seem well organized.

We are running a cafe/coffee shop, we write the order number on the cup to organize customer que. It is very wired to call order number #493 at the beginning shop opening hour.

In the old android version, the order resetting everyday just make more sense. So I was wondering what is the reason to make this change. And also the order number is not unique as to the previous style.

I believe the monthDAY and the daily order number reset is very important.
