Test order works but regular orders don’t

Hi,

installed everything, test print works but any other order

I tried does not come to the kds. I selected all the categories to make sure they get sent to the kds.

 

any ideas what I can check? Thanks 🙂

I am having the same problem and have gone through the troubleshooting Andy provided. Did you ever get it to work?

After connecting my pos device to my tablet with the KDS app, the test order came right over to the KDS but when I create an order it never shows up on the KDS.

You have to create create a printer group in the Kitchen Printers menu and assign categories of items.

KDS displays only items from the printer group.

My problem was the non static ip adress of the tablet

Having the same issue, The test order came through perfectly but new orders do not.  Same wifi network and printer group created and on.  Using Android tablets

Having the same issue, same network, kitchenprinter found by the device, printer group created, Test comes through but no order.
Maybe an  Android version issue?

I figured out you need to send the order to printer, then it shows up on the kitchen display
