Why does my kitchen tablet keep changing its IP address?

Why does my kitchen tablet keep changing its IP address? It has to be manually re-entered and results in late orders.

I am running my tablets on the Android software.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm not sure what can be the reason why your tablet keeps changing its IP address but you could try to fix it by assiging a static IP.

I'ts just a quick fix.

On an Android tablet, go to Settings > WiFi, tap and hold the active network, then tap 'Manage network settings'. Tap 'Show advanced options' and scroll down to IP settings, then change 'DHCP' to 'Static'. Tap 'Save'.

I have the same issue.

Possibly check that you are still on same network when it happens. Forget other networks in case if main network drops, it is not connecting to a different one.
