Usually autumn is the busiest time of the year for retail business. In advance, we have prepared many useful features for Loyverse thinking in all our POS users and specially owners of iOS devices will find extremely useful the first 4 new features:

1. Customer Display

The Loyverse CDS app displays order information to your customers on a separate digital display simultaneously with the sale process in the Loyverse POS app. Customer display also allows customers to enter their email address for electronic receipts.

Made as a separate application, Loyverse Customer Display System (CDS) can be installed on iPads and can be easily paired with Loyverse POS app. 

2. Barcodes Scanning by Built-in Device Camera

The built-in rear camera of iOS Mobile Devices can be used to scan item barcodes during sale or to add new items to the list. So it is very convenient because now you don’t need separate barcode scanner. To learn how to use it click here.

3. Splitting and Merging Open Tickets

Splitting a ticket allows the cashier to divide its items into multiple new tickets. Contrary, merging tickets allows the cashier to combine items from different tickets into one. This features can be applied to open tickets to improve customer experience in a cafe and restaurants. Learn here how to split and merge a ticket.

4. Added integration with SumUp and iZettle payment systems

Now, users from many countries can quickly receive credit card payments.

SumUp is available in following countries: USA, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Germany, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, United Kingdom.

iZettle is available in following countries:: Brazil, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Mexico,Norway, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands.

** Notice that all these useful features will be available on Android devices later on.

5. Possibility of connecting different printers to Android devices

Android version is now undergoing of a total redesign, that’s the reason why the release of new features slowed down a little. Nevertheless we have increased the possibility of connecting different printers.

Loyverse POS works with receipt printers from the Supported Printers list. This summer we have extended the functionality of Loyverse POS for Android, that it may work with other printer models.

If your printer has either Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth or USB interface; support ESC/POS commands same as Epson printers and support the status commands or similar functions, you can try to connect it with Loyverse POS app. However, if you want to be 100% sure, we recommend you to obtain a printer from the Supported Printers List.

6. Sales Reports

Reports at the back office also get a new feature. If you want to have a report from some particular time interval during each day, now you can choose a ‘Custom period’ option instead of ‘All day’ and set the start and end time.

7. Help Center update

Recently we also have significantly updated Help Center on Loyverse website so customers can learn how to use the vast functionality of Loyverse POS in 12 languages: English, Spanish, German, Romanian, Russian, Georgian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Urdu, Thai, Indonesian.
