items on the payment terminal not charging

I wonder if anyone can help. we use Teya card machine with Loyverse POS on it. I have set items menu that staff can click on. I can select them and then press 'charge' button. When I select card (rather than cash payment), it doesn't accept the credit card when its tapped on the card machine. - any ideas for help appreciated
