UL Posted January 7 Posted January 7 We have a setup with two POS terminals (Android). On both tablets Loyverse is installed and also SumUp. We've succesfully connected Sumup Air on one POS but cannot add a second SumUp device to the other POS. Both POS are in eachothers bluetooth range. Have disconnected SumUp and also logged off from SumUp but no success. Followed the steps as described in the support area (https://help.loyverse.com/help/credit-cards-sumup). Get the following error message, i.e. Cannot create another SumUp payment method. Any idea how to solve this?
Shinjin Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Hello, To connect your Sumup terminals, you need to login to your Sumup account in the Back Office once. Then please make sure that on both devices you have the Sumup app installed again with the same Sumup account logged in on both. Using the Sumup payment type on a device should trigger the Sumup app to open to complete the payment. Regarding the Sumup Solo, please remember to enable the Bluetooth mode on your Solo terminal. Tap or drag down the arrow at the top of your Solo’s screen. Choose "Connections" then "Bluetooth". Enable the Bluetooth toggle to activate the Solo's Bluetooth. Activating Bluetooth mode will mean that transactions can only be initiated via a connected device and not on the Solo itself.
