Mimmo Posted December 11, 2024 Author Posted December 11, 2024 (edited) Hi, thanks for your reply. Brw it's not what I am asking for. I write you an example of what I need to be sent to ONE kitchen printer: STARTER Tuna tartare Carpaccio MAIN Spaghetti lobster In this way, the chef knows he must cook and send to the table before the starters and after the main. It's the usual activity of all restaurants. Thanks. Edited December 11, 2024 by Mimmo

Hello You can create for example the modifier with the types of meal: STARTER, MAIN, DESSERT+DRINKS and choose one of its options when you add an item to the order: --- --- Then, in the order sent to the kitchen, it will be shown like this:
Mimmo Posted December 19, 2024 Author Posted December 19, 2024 Thanks for your reply, but in this way will take ages taking orders. Without an update, it will be impossible to use, imho.

Without an update, it will be impossible to use, imho. You will be surprised how quickly a simple button push will take; try it and be surprised! Considering the cost of other systems, they have even more complex methods that are three to five steps! The other option is for the Server to take the Starter Order and send it off to the kitchen and then take the Main Order to send separately. Or you can set Starters under a completely separate category and send it to a separate KDS machine in the kitchen, so your Sous Chefs can focus on Starters and the Main Chef focuses on Mains but this depends on your kitchen/restaurant setup. 1
