Assign Ticket to New BUT charge and close ticket...

We are a takeout restaurant without tables. People come up to the window, order, pay their bill, give us a name, and then stand in the background until we "scream" their name.

What would be ideal for us is to Assign a pre-defined name to the ticket, which I know we can do through Predefined OPEN Tickets "https://help.loyverse.com/help/how-use-predefined-open-tickets" but this is for a ticket left open Ie. a Bar Tab, but we want to assign a name to a ticket and close it on the POS, because the cashier has moved on to the next person (ticket), and someone else is "screaming" a customer's name.

Alternatively, we would pre-assign names to "tags" (thick plastic squares etched) with weird names on them, ie. Zertox The Great, BUT the issue is that the KDS Printer does not show the customer's name, only the employee's name...

How do we solve this problem?

FYI, this is common in America Fast Food; millions of Mom & Pop restaurants in tourist places are taken out and have to assign a customer name to the ticket.

Being able to assign the exact same Predefined Field to the Charged ticket that gets sent to the kitchen is all that we need. Ie. Copy/Paste the cost of the predefined name for Open tickets to be on Charged tickets, no new database table, no new fields, using the exact same data, just simply add to Charged tickets and place below Comments in the KDS.

Hello

As a workaround, I suggest you try to use the ORDER NUMBER to call for the customer instead of the customer's name:

(This order number is displayed only on a paid printed receipt (if the open ticket was not saved), on the KDS, or on the printed kitchen order.
So, to see this number, the customer should pay for his order immediately because he will see the order number only on the paid receipt).

Hum... Most customers don't ask for a printed receipt, and for that matter, we don't encourage printing them, as 95% end up in the garbage. Maybe a way to do this via some other method?  Can we use Settings->Receipts->Show customer info or Show comments or maybe via Open Ticket Print->Close/Charge Ticket?

If you save an Open Ticket as a CUSTOM TICKET, you can write the comments for this ticket that will be shown on the printed kitchen order or on the Kitchen Display:
