NewHopeCharity Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 Running SumUp v2.64, Loyverse v2.36 on a Sumni T2 terminal (Android 8). Having just updated the SumUp and Loyverse software credit card refunds have stopped working. I know the error message "Unable to make a refund. Item(-s) have already been refunded on another POS" is spurious because the transaction and refund were made sequentially, out of trading hours when I was the sole till operator. If you need it for investigating here's one of the receipts with it's transaction details.
Shinjin Posted April 8, 2024 Posted April 8, 2024 Hello, Could you please tell us if you have tried refunding other receipts? Have you only recently added Sumup as a payment type to your Loyverse account? We will be waiting for your reply.
NewHopeCharity Posted April 22, 2024 Author Posted April 22, 2024 Hi Shinjin, Yes, cash refunds are processed correctly, but no card refunds succeed. SumUp has been part of the Loyverse setup from inception but I have recently reinstalled both applications as part of troubleshooting previous SumUp transactional errors. (see Sumup account error thread) )
Shinjin Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Hello, As mentioned in the quoted thread, have you tried disconnecting the Sumup account in the Back Office --> Settings --> Payment types page and then reconnecting it again? Please try and let us know the results.
