Is there a way of altering the cost price alternatively ?

Hi Everyone,

I’ve inputed some new stock but made an error on the cost price but unable to alter now it’s been registered! Is there a way of altering the cost price alternatively would I be able to delete item from system and re-enter it and if I did this will it still show up in my stock check as a loss?

Hello! 

 

If you have wrong cost for item "ginger beer" after making the stock adjustment, you can change the average cost by following the instructions below and input the correct cost value. 

 

Because the system automatically calculates the average cost, to change it, you need to switch off the 'track stock' option in item and change the cost.
Don't forget to switch on Track stock option again and save the changes after it.
