Two POS device send orders to one KDS screen

Hi,

During peak hours I need a second POS terminal to handle customer orders but it has to send the same orders to my main KDS screen. Can I connect a second POS device and have it send orders to my current KDS device that is paired with my first POS device?

Same here. I need to send from 2 pos devices to same KDS. Is it only 1 to 1 relationship this way?  I know you can send different elements to different KDS from 1 pos - this is the other way around

I have 2 POS devices connected to my main kitchen display with no issues. I just had to make sure that the IP address was setup correctly, and found no issues connecting multiple POS devices to the same KDS device.

Hi and thanks. Can I ask if you can send orders of the same categories from BOTH pos? I seem to be able only to send different categories….e.g pizzas on one pos and burgers from the other. I’d like to send all food categories from several devices to the same kitchen display…

I had a similar issue when setting up my POS devices.

I had to make sure to add the categories that I want to show up together on the KDS into the same kitchen printer group.

Then when configuring my POS, select the groups I want to display on the KDS from POS because many POS devices can use the same groups.
