Important. Loyverse account cancellation

i've just received this surprising mail :

Dear Sir or Madam,

Utilising our terms of use for the “Cancellation of Accounts”, your account will be cancelled on July 25, 2021.

You will still have access to your data until the end of the day of July 24, 2021. It is highly recommended to export your data before that date as it will be deleted thereafter in accordance with our policies.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

I have only one simple question :

WHY ?

i've checked the mentionned terms of use and found no reasonnable reasons for such a cancellation. Could you explain me this decision ?

Unfortunately, we are not offering services in France. Utilising our terms of use for the “Cancellation of Accounts” and in an attempt to help you make your transition smoother, we have extended your Account Cancellation date to September 1, 2021. You will still have access to your data until the end of the day of August 31, 2021. It is highly recommended to export your data before that date as it will be deleted thereafter in accordance with our policies.

@salondethe, I have had the same email, no explanation other than "we are no longer offering services to your country" but not why?  This app has been a huge help to recording sales at events so needless to say I am disappointed @loyverse

Hi,

We are in a same position. No clear explanations from Loyverse despeite several messages.

 In our case we don't care: indeed as an social grocery association we are not applying VAT. 

There are other solutions based in France that seems to offer the same features as Loyverse. Have a look for example to RoverCash based in Montpellier. That's is the solution I am currently investigating to replace Loyverse.

@Tiboul, thanks for the link to RoverCash.  I cannot use this as there is a limit of 1000 products, I have 5000+.  I have POS with my Shopify store, but every sale is an order, and I don't get the detail I want.  I used Loyverse POS for events so I can see exactly the items sold at the event by SKU number  which enables efficient restocking.

J'ai une version gratuite mais je peux payer pour continuer à utiliser Loyverse. Je ne trouve pas comment accéder au formulaire d'abonnement. Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider ? Help !

Unfortunately, it will not be possible to continue using your Loyverse account after July 25, 2021. You still have access to your data until the end of the day of July 24, 2021. Following my last investigations, I am on the way to move to the solution developped by ODOO that seems to offer functionnalities similar to Loyverse with a first set of applications accessible for free.

Bonjour, on m'informe par mail que mon compte va être résilié le 25/07/2021 prochain. Aucune explication et je n'ai évidemment rien demandé. Sur le chat on me dit que j'aurai une réponse par mail mais rien ne vient et la date approche. Que faire ? J'ai mis ma question ici mais comme tout est en anglais je ne sais pas si c'est là qu'il faut qu'elle soit.

Bonjour, apparemment personne n'obtient d'explication, l'équipe Loyverse est étrangement vague sur le pourquoi du comment.

Nous en sommes tous à nous inquiéter par rapport à la date du 25/07/2021 et malheureusement il n'y a aucune solution autre que de changer de logiciel de caisse. Cela fait plus de 2 semaines que je recherche et teste des logiciels de caisse. Mais la plupart sont trop chers pour ma petite activité et ont une interface moche ou peu conviviale, même certains logiciels payants. Loyverse POS était pour moi la solution idéale car gratuite et illimitée, ergonomique, utilisable hors ligne, compatible avec mon lecteur de codes-barres, etc. C'est pour moi un énorme retour en arrière et une dépense à venir non prévue.

La solution la moins pénible et gratuite que j'ai trouvée jusqu'à présent est Odoo.

After investigation on Internet, I tried to find a solution equivalent to Loyverse and the conclusion is definitely " Loyverse is one one the best solution on the market".

That's why I am really disappointed to see the cancellation of our account on July, 25th. 

If there are any way to continue to make business with Loyverse via (reasonable) monthly fees, we will subscribe immediately.

j ai le même problème !!!, Ils nous annoncent la suppression du compte sans aucune explication !!! c est la première fois que je vois ça !! j ai  investi plein de temps (1 an et demi) dans ce logiciel qui me convient parfaitement et ces cons me le supprime en juillet, en pleine saison !!!

je me retrouve à essayer de trouver un autre sort et surtout je vais perdre mes données car quoi faire avec leurs exportations de merde en .cet ???????

JE SUIS DÉGOUTÉ !!!!!

@LAC : Malheureusement, pour une fois ce n'est pas une affaire d'argent... Loyverse n'est plus disponible en France (la preuve : si on essaie de créer un nouveau compte en indiquant "France" comme pays, ce n'est plus possible). Pourquoi ? Impossible de le savoir, pas de réponse claire du support. Probablement une histoire de réglementation fiscale ou d'accords entre pays. Les comptes existants seront résiliés unilatéralement par Loyverse le 25 juillet 2021, apparemment sans aucun moyen de pouvoir continuer. Il faut donc essayer de se tourner vers une autre solution. Pour ma part, je suis en train de tester Odoo POS, qui semble offrir à peu près les mêmes fonctionnalités. Désolé...

Nous sommes nombreux à avoir ce problème de suppression de compte sans explication. Pour ma part, j'ai au moins pu exporter la liste de mes articles, ce qui était l’essentiel. Sous Windows il faut aller dans le back-office, rubrique "Articles->Liste d'articles", cliquer sur "Exporter" et enregistrer le fichier. Le fichier résultant est un .csv que l'on peut ouvrir sous Excel moyennant quelques manipulations préliminaires (exemple : j'ai dû au préalable remplacer dans le fichier .csv sous Wordpad toutes les virgules par des points-virgules). Le résultat est à peu près exploitable pour être importé dans une autre application point de vente (pour ma part, je teste Odoo POS, qui offre à peu près les fonctionnalités dont j'ai besoin mais en moins bien).

@lesplantesdedemain : Hello, as I already responded in this topic, no way possible to keep your account... You will have to migrate to another POS app before August 31,2021 (Loyverse team seems to have delayed account cancellation to the end of high season). I've been trying Odoo for 1 month, seems to be a free solution that fullfills my requirements concerning point of sale, even it's not as satisfying as Loyverse POS.

 

Bonjour, comme déjà répondu dans ce topic, pas de possibilité de conserver votre compte... Vous devrez migrer vers une autre appli de PDV avant le 31 août 2021 (l'équipe Loyverse semble avoir décalé la suppression de compte à la fin de la haute saison). Cela fait 1 mois que j'essaie Odoo, cela semble être une solution gratuite qui remplit mes exigences en termes de point de vente, même si ce n'est pas aussi satisfaisant que Loyverse PDV.
