Hi, I got the Bematech S100U but I'm getting the scanner requires too much power when I plug it into the iPad. 

Is there something that should be done before using this scanner with Loyverse?

Hello. Unfortunately this scanner will not work with Loyverse POS on iPad.
 

Loyverse POS on IOS devices supports only following Bluetooth scanner models:

Socket Mobile 7Ci

Socket Mobile 7Qi

Socket Mobile S700

Socket Mobile S740

Socket Mobile S800
