kst Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 We have taxes and loyalty enabled in the system and we notice that loyalty points are awarded based on total amount that is inclusive of tax. Is there a way to to calculate points exclusive of tax?
Georg Posted April 12, 2021 Posted April 12, 2021 Hello, dear user Unfortunately, it is not possible to exclude taxes from the loyalty points calculations.
Peb94 Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 Can you not reduce the percentage discount that’s set in the Loyalty section to compensate for the tax? It might not be exact but should reduce your loss if that is your issue!

Peb94 Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 If you sold an item for 1 including tax from whatever currency you use and the tax was say 20% to get the non tax figure you would divide by 1.2 giving you the amount without tax of 0.8333. In Loyverse point set up you could set the percentage at 0.08 for a 10% points bonus to get 8 points for every 100 spent so you get the 10% on 80 not 100 which basically roughly removes the tax amount! hopefully my thinking is correct and it helps someone
