goedschalk Posted February 15, 2021 Posted February 15, 2021 I have installed the different elements, the POS and the KDS. I followed all the steps, but am unable to get the KDS to work. It keeps indicating that the connection is not working.
Andy Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Hello. Please, check if both devices with POS and KDS are connected to the same WiFi. also check the tutorial: Troubleshooting When Working with KDS
goedschalk Posted February 16, 2021 Author Posted February 16, 2021 Thanks Andy. I checked, and they are on the same wifi. And yes, I went through the entire troubleshooting page. But no success so far.

Did you find a solution that doest involve getting a new router?
Luis123 Posted Monday at 06:21 AM Posted Monday at 06:21 AM (edited) There’s mainly 2 solutions I found pertaining to this problem. I still haven’t figured out but my guess there’s a bug that causes the error on IPads with IOS 18 and 26 You can hardwire your tablet with a PoE adapter that allows charging and ethernet data transfer / connection. This allows a estable connection between tablets and printers/KDS without having to rely on WiFi connection. Second option- get a router a connect everything to that network and hardwire the printers as well to this router. You need everything connected to the same network. Problem gone. or Third option is to use android tablets. They seem to connect well with no errors. Edited Monday at 06:23 AM by Luis123
