SumUp account not connected

I seem to be going round in circles and getting nowhere

 

loyverse and SumUp have worked faultlessly on an iPad until tonight

 

now I get an orange warning triangle saying account not connected

 

if I log in it says it’s connected and takes me back to the log in screen

any ideas ?
