Well, after working around the world in tourism for 25 years I ended up in Northern Ireland as a manager of a B&B. I had heard about the Finn McCools hostel, which the owner was selling as he had no more time to run and manage it. My girlfriend Jacey and I took the opportunity and bought it with the intention of expanding it further.

How did you find Loyverse POS and why would you recommend Loyverse POS to other retailers like you?

We were looking for a POS system and Jacey had done a lot of research to find one suitable. Loyverse POS gives us a lot of flexibility, even allowing us to add employees, so they can have their own login. Furthermore, it makes your number clear in a simple way and makes it easier to keep inventory.

Do you have any advice for retailers such as yourself? -E.g. Something that you wish you had known earlier.

My advice is, do not be afraid of helpful tools such as this piece of technology to help you to manage and develop your business. It gives you support and doesn’t take over, as some may fear.

What were some of the biggest lessons that has impacted the way that you work? What was the lesson, and what was it like before and after?

Originally when we took over this company, nothing was automated, as is expected of these small hostels. This POS gives you more time to spend on running your business, as well as saving you time in working with numbers and time consuming activities.
