Anyway to change colour or to customise the 'customer display'?

I love the green color of the app and layout, nice fresh looking. But is there any way to change it at least at customer display? I run this shop in the area where one team, their supporters hate greens - their rival colors. So is there any way to customize it? thanks

Hello. At the moment in the customer display is not able to customize colors. I think it is a good idea to make that feature in the future.

Please add customization. We don't need the "e-mail receipt" part for example and would like to show only the articles and the price.

Would be nice, if you could choose to disable the e-mail receipt part.

Green does not work for our business either.

This should be very very simple to implement and very important to small businesses trying to build their brand.

Noting your response was in 2018, do you have plans to add the colour customisation for the apps? All screens could easily take a Hex accent colour setting from the back office to brand POS, CDS and KDS (visible to customers in some locations).

Has anyone figured out how this was done yet?

Ok. I think I may have figured out a way to do this,

The 'secret' is to add a screen overlay image above the CDS display from Loyverse. I have cobbled something together on my Android mobile phone using an overlay app which can place images over a running app (Loyverse CDS).

The overlay image I have used was simply something I made in Photoshop. It's a PNG image and the right half is fully transparent ...

I used a demo image for the Loyverse CDS screen as I don't have the app running on my phone. Here it is (somewhat stretched to fit my phone screen!) ...

LV_ss.thumb.png.761dc6b2af7bbb0a673483fb190f4249.png

When the Overlay app is run it places the first image over the top of the second and it is always on top ...

[Actual screenshot]

Seems to work fine on my phone running Android 11, but I don't know if the app would work on lower vesions as often found in CDS units. However, maybe Loyverse could add the option to provide an overlay in the Loyverse software.(subtle hint! 😉🤣). Not everyone uses the email field and it is (to me anyway) a waste of valuable space that could be used for promoting products or offers.

This is a Photoshopped mockup of what it might look like on an actual CDS ...

Hope this has helped anyone considering adding a custom overlay to their CDS screen. Overlay apps are available on Google Play but you'd need to find out whether they would work on your installed CDS version.

If placing a screen overlay via software isn't possible then you can always use my latest method of cutting an overlay from photo-glossy paper printed with whatever advertising blurb you want. Much better than the green email box that 99% of customers don't use! ...

The overlay in Photoshop before printing and cutting. The side tabs are for bending around and taping to the CDS tablet ...

Hey guys, I'm approaching this a bit differently. I have a customer display in the form of a tablet (Umidigi A13 tab), and it allows me to split the screen (have two apps side by side). On the right, I have the Loyverse display showing only the receipt, and on the left, about two-thirds of the screen, I have a photo slideshow. Currently, I'm using a GIF image converted to square resolution through Google Photos... could you give it a try?

This is a decent solution, but on Android at least, split-view pairs cannot be "pinned" so it's quite easy for a customer to either maliciously or accidently minimize/close the CDS and have access to the system. Not to mention notifications and things will be pushed through.

Another solution is to run the tablet in portrait mode. At least on my device this orientation removes the email field side and the entire height of the tablet is used for showing items ordered and the total.

better solution would be for Loyverse to simply add a field where we can upload images and/or messages to customize the left side as well as images for a slideshow when a sale is not in progress.
