Adding Items or Modifier with open price is not very useful

I was looking to solve the problem of not having quantities for Modifiers. So I decided to add an Item with no set price and call it SPECIAL. The problem I encounter is that by default you only get to set a price and that is it. However, you can go back to the Item and add a commentary. This in my opinion needs an additional option to activate commentary by default. That way you can add the price and add a commentary straight away, about what exactly you are billing the customer.
