LoyUser Posted August 13 Posted August 13 I used your export feature, Removed some of the customers we no longer wanted, then imported them agian - and it has lost all of our sales data linked to our customers. it has kept their points, but not longer has their account linked to their customer ID, even though the field "customer id", is in the csv file. What is going on?

After you delete a customer from the customers base, this customer will be unassigned from all the receipts and even if you create the customer again with the same customer's ID, he will be created as a new customer. The receipts to which this deleted customer was previously assigned, will have a mark "DELETED CUSTOMER":
LoyUser Posted August 16 Author Posted August 16 Then why have customer IDs in the export -- what is the point of that? The ID's related to nothing. There should be some warning that your "import/export" features are not compatible!!! As the names suggest that you can import and export! if I export a MySQL database from phpMyAdmin, i do not expect NOT to be able to reimport it again.
