These tools allow you to combine ingredients, produce each pastry you plan to sell in the POS app, and help you monitor both production and stock levels. To set this up, you need to add the individual items or ingredients of the pastry you want to produce. Then, activate the 'Track Stock' feature and enter the stock quantities for each ingredient. After setting that up, you’ll need to combine the ingredients into one item using the Composite Item feature and enable the Production toggle. When setting up the composite, make sure to enter the quantity of each ingredient in decimal form based on the measurement for one pastry. For example, this ingredient of Loaf bread: This way, it automatically calculates the cost of the item based on the quantity of the ingredient that you entered. Once you’ve set up your composite item, you can start tracking your pastry production using the Production feature. The system will automatically reduce the stock of your ingredients and add stock to the composite item.
