I want to run an indoor garden cafe, and I'm planning to use Loyverse POS. In addition to selling coffee and pastries, I'm offering combo deals like “buy 1 drink, get a free pastry,” as well as side items such as plants, flowers, pots, and soil. I also want to run planting sessions where customers can choose a plant type, pot size, and soil as part of an activity. Can Loyverse help me track inventory for all these items, manage combo offers, record sales, print receipts, and accept payments? What features would you recommend using to support both retail and experience-based services?

Hello!
First, for your individual items like solo drinks, pastries, plants, flowers, pots and soil and activate the track stocks of the items to manage the stock’s inventories.

For the “buy 1 drink, get a free pastry” you can use the composite feature on managing this item. With this, you can add the components of the drinks and the pastry that’s included in the promo and then combine them together to create a composite item. In this case, you can be able to set different pricing on the item and when you sell these items, the stocks will be automatically deducted from the individual inventories of the items.

Here’s an example: The setup when combining 2 items in 1 composite:

And then for the planting sessions, you can set them up just like the first example I gave. You can list individual items like the service fee, plant cost, various pot sizes, and soil separately. Make sure to activate ‘Track Stock’ on each item so that when you make a sale, the stock for each component will automatically be deducted accordingly.

You can also organize these different sessions into categories like ‘How to Take Care of Indoor Plants’, ‘How to Maintain Flowering Plants’, or even ones focused on edible plants like vegetables and fruits. It’s also a good idea to create them based on different pot sizes and adjust the pricing depending on the type of plant or the size of the pot.

I think with this method, you’ll be able to offer a good variety of items for customers to choose from.

While creating them, I suggest grouping these composite items under one category. This way, when you’re making a sale in the POS app, you can just tap one category and quickly see everything listed under it.
