Mobile Pet Grooming & Treat Truck

I'm planning to launch a mobile pet grooming and treat truck. It’s kind of like a food truck, but for pets. I’ll be offering basic grooming services like nail trimming, bathing, and brushing, plus selling pet snacks, toys, and pet accessories. I also plan to offer some kind of bundle service, like, for example, “De-shedding” Grooming Bundle that includes a bath with de-shedding shampoo, blow dry, de-shedding brush-out, nail trim, and ear cleaning. I also want to use Loyverse to handle sales, track inventory, and possibly keep a record of returning customers and their pets. Can Loyverse support a business like this on the go?

Loyverse can do pretty much everything you’re looking for. You can set up your grooming services as items, like flea treatment, ear cleaning, nail trim, bathing, etc., and track inventory for anything you’re selling, like treats, toys, or shampoo. 

The customer base feature is helpful for keeping notes on regulars, their pet’s name, breed, what services they usually get, and any special requests.

For the bundle services, recommend using a composite item to create your grooming bundles, like your De-shedding Grooming Bundle (bath with de-shedding shampoo, blow dry, de-shedding brush out, nail trim, and ear cleaning). With composite items, you won’t need to select each service one by one during checkout. Instead, you can create a single, easy to click item that automatically links all the components together. This way, sales and stock for each included service or product will be tracked correctly and deducted from your inventory (if needed).

 

To create this item, you need to add all the individual services on one item as a component in a composite item.

Once you add the quantity of each item, the cost will automatically be calculated.

It’s also worth noting the app works offline, so you can still take payments and record sales even if you're somewhere without signal. Once you're back online, everything syncs to the Back Office automatically. Just make sure not to log out of the app while receipts are still unsynced, doing that can cause you to lose any sales recorded while offline.
