How taxi drivers can manage sales and the company owner can monitor their sales?

I own a company where taxi drivers rent my cars and pay me a percentage of their total sales. Can Loyverse accommodate this type of sales tracking? How would it work? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you!

To track sales on the POS, I recommend activating the shift report feature. This report calculates the total receipts generated on the POS, allowing you to see how much the driver earned by the end of their shift when they return the rented car. However, please note that Loyverse does not have a built-in feature to automatically split sales into percentages. You would need to manually calculate the percentage of the taxi's sales that you are entitled to.

I agree, Maria has a good point. Plus, since each taxi has a meter reader, the driver can enter the meter amount into the POS and set the item as ‘weight/volume’ when setting it up. That way, the POS will automatically calculate the exact amount based on the meter reading and the price set in the item’s settings.

If I may add, I think the features Maria & Abi suggested make a lot of sense because they allow taxi drivers to easily provide printed or email receipts to their customers. This not only adds convenience for the drivers but also ensures transparency in transactions. Personally, I’d recommend using Sunmi devices since they come with a built-in printer, making it much more practical for drivers. That way, they won’t have to struggle with carrying or setting up bulky external printers inside their taxis. Additionally, Loyverse provides real-time updates on accounts anytime, anywhere! I personally use the Dashboard app to monitor sales in my shop when I’m away. It allows me to see the total sales my employees make, which gives me peace of mind!
