Maria_12 Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I really like the features on Loyverse, but it’s missing one that I badly need for my business. I take reservations, and for customers to secure their slots, they need to make a downpayment. However, I can’t seem to find this feature in Loyverse. Has anyone encountered this issue? How do you manage downpayments on your POS? Any recommendations would be really helpful!
Rena Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Hi! I actually have a workaround for this. I’ve been using it in my business, and it works just fine for me. What I do is use open tickets to save customer reservations. Before saving the ticket, I customize the ticket name. Instead of entering a table number, I put the customer’s name along with the date and time of their reservation. In the comment field, I note the down payment amount and then save the ticket. Since Loyverse doesn’t have a built-in partial payment feature, I record the downpayment as a "pay-in" on the shift report. This way, the partial payment is saved, and I can easily check the shift history by looking up the ticket name to see the downpayment amount. To use this features, you need to activate open tickets and shift report on the Back Office feature settings.
