How to manage Nail salon business?

Hey everyone! I just opened my nail salon and I’m trying to set up everything, especially tracking appointments, inventory, and services. I’ve been thinking about using Loyverse POS. Does anyone here use it for a nail salon? How do you set it up and manage everything efficiently? Any tips would be really helpful!

I also run a salon and bakery and we’ve been using Loyverse for about a year. We mostly use it for tracking inventory because we tend to go through products like gel polish and acrylic powders pretty fast. The low-stock alerts help us a lot. We also love the loyalty program feature to keep customers coming back!

Hey there!

I run a nail salon called Polished Perfection, and I use Loyverse POS to manage everything from client appointments to inventory and customer loyalty. I track appointments throughout the day, checking clients in and assigning services to specific employees, which helps keep everything organized, especially during busy times. For inventory, I categorize all our nail products like polishes and gels and set up low-stock alerts, so I never run out of popular items. I also keep track of product usage and adjust my orders based on demand. The loyalty program has been a great success for repeat customers. They earn points for every service, which they can later redeem for free nail art or discounted services. Loyverse’s customer feature lets me save client preferences like favorite colors or nail techs, making every visit more personalized. I regularly use sales reports to see which services bring in the most revenue and set up seasonal promotions to drive more traffic during slow periods.

All of these features help me keep my salon running smoothly while providing a great experience for my clients!

Wow, @Maria_12, this is really helpful! I didn’t realize you could manage all those details with Loyverse. How do you keep track of client preferences? Do you use the Customers feature for that?

Yes! That’s one of my favorite features. In Loyverse’s customer feature, I create a profile for each client. When they book a service, I note their preferences, like their favorite nail colors, if they prefer a certain nail tech, or if they have any allergies to products.

For example:

This way, when they come back, I can provide a personalized experience, which keeps them happy and loyal. It’s really useful for building strong relationships with your clients. Plus, it saves me time during busy appointments!

Hi @Maria_12!

I’m thinking about adding a loyalty program like you mentioned. Do clients need to sign up for it, or is it automatic with their purchases?

You can set it up either way. I usually ask clients if they want to join when they’re checking out for their first service, and all I need is their name and phone number or email. After that, they automatically start earning points with every purchase. It’s a great way to reward loyalty without having to manage a separate system. And clients love seeing their points add up!

I think I will be using Loyverse now! Thanks for all the tips, @Maria_12! I’m definitely going to set up the loyalty program and inventory tracking right away.
