abi_28
I run a business where kids can rent bikes and practice on our open grounds. However, both the bike rentals and field use have associated fees. The bike rental fees vary depending on the model, and the field fee is $5 per hour. I want to track how many bikes are rented each day and give receipts to the kids. Maria_12
This is possible with Loyverse. You can add bike models as modifiers, so when creating a ticket, the option to choose which bike model is being rented will appear on your screen. This method also allows you to track rental reports in the Back Office sales report by modifiers, making it easy to see how many of each bike model was rented. For the field, you can list it as a separate item and note the time the child enters the field as a comment on the receipt. This will help you track how long they use the area Additionally, I recommend activating the Open Tickets feature, which lets you save tickets and charge customers later. For receipts, you can use a thermal printer and connect it to your POS app ( Android or iOS device) to print, or you can send e-receipts directly to customers via email. This is what the e-receipt looks like when sent to email: For more information on how to add these workarounds, please check out these help articles that I will insert below: Open tickets: https://help.loyverse.com/help/open-tickets Show comments on the receipt: https://help.loyverse.com/help/customer-info-receipt Supported printers: https://help.loyverse.com/help/supported-printers Send receipts to email: https://help.loyverse.com/help/how-send-e-mail-receipt-client
abi_28
Thank you so much for the help! However, I already have my thermal printer and as I checked, it is not listed in the supported list. Can I still use this on my Samsung Galaxy tablet?
Hanna
Hello Abi! You can try to connect it on the POS app as ‘other printer’ however, since this is an unsupported printer, please note that we can’t guarantee that it can work with your tablet. For the guide, please check out this help article that we have prepared: https://help.loyverse.com/help/how-set-other-printers-loyverse-pos
