Payment from Customer to be able to use allocation numbers need a field

Hello All,

In our business we use allocation numbers, similar to PO for certain customers to pay. I was wondering if there was a way to add a field in the payment section were the numbers can be put or can you think of a better way to do this?

Could you please clarify whether you need a field where you can write the number on the receipt or do you wish for the number to be generated automatically on the receipt?
