Merge existing customers (Double entry with different names)

The staff is adding a "new" customer as they don't use the exiting customer name. Can the "new" customer entry be merged with the existing customer entry?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to merge customers and customers entry.
But if need, you can edit the customer's loyalty points balance.
