Is anyone know if i can make my own generated barcode for specific items...?

like for example i want to sell 1piece of hotdog i sell it for piece,for retail,can i make or print barcode?

i have my barcode for hotdog for 1pack 1kg,..but if i sell per piece can i put and make my own barcode?

if yes can you recommend some apps generated barcodes..thank you in advance

Loyverse POS does not generate barcodes, but you can definitely add barcodes to your items and print them on labels from your back office, please check out the below links on how to do that:

In my business i used a 12 number barcode (upc) but you can use EAN for Example (13 numbers)

i don't wanted to have the same barcode a second time, so i created it this way:

1 as the first number, 21 for the year, 03 for the month, 25 for the day and 1001 (=UPC / or 10001 for EAN) for the first one of the day.

in the Website from gs1 you can generate the last number.

so the barcode of today would be 1 21 03 25 1001 and 2 

then your own upc barcode is done. 

you never got a double one.
