Hello. 
All the amounts and prices on the receipt are not specified by any currency, just by a number. However, you can change the settings for paper receipts to add text (your desired currency) at the end of the receipt. These settings are made at the Back office in the Settings>Receipt.
You can add to the Footer field some text about your currency, such as "Receipt Currency: US dollars."

This text will be printed at the bottom of the receipts.
