How to use barcodes for discounts

Hi there,

I'm curious if there is a way to put pricing deductions / discounts by scanning a barcode? If so how about would I do. Barcodes can only connected to an item right now.

Unlike items, it is not possible to assign barcodes to discounts. However, as a way around you can use the barcode numbers as the discount name

and then look for the discount by using the search field and then scanning the barcode (this can only be done by an external barcode scanner and cannot be done with the device's built in camera)

Is there any way of doing this if someone buys 2 of the same item it would take say 20% of the total cost of the 2 items? E.g. "price 2.50, buy 2 for 4.25"?
