The deletion of a payment type!

Hello, how to delete a payment type that I don’t use anymore? If I delete a payment type, will the history of this payment type also be deleted?

Hello,

You can delete a payment type from your Back-office->Settings ->Payment types-> Select the payment type that you want to delete and click on the delete button.

                    

                                                      

If you delete a payment type, the past history of it will not be deleted.

If you check receipts that have been paid with this payment type, you will see the payment type in these receipts in the archive in POS and in the Back Office and also if you export the receipts in a CSV file.

You will also see this payment type in Sales by payment type report, if you choose to check the report for the period of time while this payment type was not deleted yet and you made sales using this payment type.
