How to set images for the items in Loyverse POS?

Just curious of a different experience. Do you use photos of similar products from the Internet or do you make your own? For example, I using the photos from the internet.

I myself make some photos. but often I take photos on free online storage.

What is the best resolution so my item image not been cropped when inserted?

In the POS app, a square image is displayed. If you upload a non-square but a rectangular picture, then the system suggests to crop it to a square shape.

During uploading of the image, the system allows you to select the position of the image relative to the displayed (square) shape if it does not fit into it (along with the length or height), and increase or decrease it relative to the displayed shape.

Images that do not exceed 500 X 500 px are loaded unchanged. Images that are larger than 500 X 500 px are reduced to this size.

Is there a requirement for pictures?

You can upload images for items in mobile POS or in the back office. At menu Items list open the item you need, find Representation on POS. how many images do you want to upload?

Does Loyverse have some restrictions on the image sizes or file formats or others?

The main requirements is to use images in square shape.

Therefore if you upload an image with a different shape, you will have a dialog screen to crop the image to a square. Adjust the square to fit the portion of the image you wish to crop. Click the Confirm button.

Supported Image Formats:

• Color or b/w
• File size - up to 10Mb
• No restrictions on resolution
• Valid file format: jpeg, pjpeg, x-png, png, gif, bmp.
