I export the items list to make changes to multiple items but when I import it again any barcodes that begin with a zero is missing the zero at the beginning. Is there a way to stop that happening because it's playing havoc with our stock figures and causing problem at the till.

All my items are unique, that means for me that I can use the unique barcode as well to fill the SKU. Is that possible? Why would I prefer this procedure? For nearly automatical handling I do not want to download the whole itemlist, only to change some single items or add some single items. As far as I understand the process it seems to be easier to export only the modified items from my ERP (mostly price, sometimes weight) to a CSV/spreadsheet for the upload. I suppose the rest of the items remains in the item-list. Is this right?

Hi everyone, first post here. I'm just setting up Loyverse for my cheese shop, all going well so far. But my scales that weigh cut pieces of cheese prints labels with the cheese name, weight, price with a bar code. Does anyone know how I can ensure that bar code (with different weights and prices each time) will "connect" to the named cheese on Loyverse? I've added the cheese name, category and cost price but haven't yet assigned a barcode yet. I'm working remotely right now and won't be at the shop for a few days to experiment, but thought I would check here before I waste too much time adding too many cheese details into this system. The item-list of my retailersystem can only be exported without check-digit at the end of the barcode (don´t know why). Is it possible to adjust the barcode-scan of the build-in camera on android on scanning without check-digit?

Every year around Christmas time Products like Coca-Cola and Sprite comes in to minimarts , supermarkets bars with a different label carrying a different barcode from the pervious one. does loyverse accommodate for items carrying two different barcodes ? in other point of sale systems they used (link to) or ( Alias) to pair the two barcode to one item. is this something Loyverse is looking into or already have establish it would also be a benefit for customers that can be added to the advance inventory

Many grocery stores use label printing scales. Shoppers can weigh an item away from the POS and print a specialized label. These labels are often called "weight embedded", because the weighted value is embedded in the barcode. The Loyverse POS app, starting from version 2.33 for iOS, supports scanning barcodes with the item SKU and its weight. When scanning such a barcode, the item is automatically added to the receipt with the indicated weight. The system allows the use of weighted barcodes in the following formats: EAN 13 and UPC-A. To use this feature, log in to your Back Office, click on the Settings icon on the left menu bar to go to the System settings. In the ‘Features’ section, switch on the parameter for ‘Barcodes with embedded weight’. Click the ‘Save’ button. When I scan barcode (weight type) same product 2 times, receipt will auto merge both weight together. But I want to show weight each package on receipt.

Hi there, I'm curious if there is a way to put pricing deductions / discounts by scanning a barcode? If so how about would I do. Barcodes can only connected to an item right now. Thanks!
