Custom Call Name on Kitchen and Bar Tickets for Orders Created in Loyverse POS

Hello Loyverse team and API developers,

I run a restaurant called BRASA and use Loyverse POS on an iPad, with automatic printing to our kitchen and bar printers.

I would like to implement a simple order-calling system using city names, such as MIRAFLORES, BARRANCO, or QUITO, instead of calling out the order number.

Our requirements are:

Each new order created normally in Loyverse POS should receive a unique city name.

The city name should remain assigned until the order is marked as delivered. Then, the city can be reused for a future order.

The city name should appear on the kitchen ticket, bar ticket, and ideally the customer receipt.

When the order is marked READY on a separate screen, the system should announce, for example, “MIRAFLORES, your order is ready!”

We must preserve Loyverse's normal workflow and automatic kitchen/bar printing.

My main questions are:

Is there an official way to add a custom field or call name to an existing sale created directly in Loyverse POS and have it printed on kitchen and bar tickets?

Can the API update an existing receipt or its order name after the sale has been created?

Is there a supported integration, extension, or workaround that achieves this without creating a second receipt or requiring manual reprinting?

We have already built a basic external screen that tracks orders and announces when an order is ready. The remaining challenge is integrating the city name with Loyverse's normal printing workflow.

I would greatly appreciate any technical guidance, documentation, or examples from anyone who has implemented something similar.

Thank you!
